HBO Max Developing ‘Constantine’ Series

HBO Max are looking to make a new Constantine series.

Guy Bolton is currently attached to write the show. The show will now focus on a young actor to play in the show.

The show will reportedly follow a younger version of the DC Comics character and focus more on the comics’ horror elements rather than the religious ones.

It will tie into Justice League Dark a series currently in the works at the streamer, a series that has J.J. Abrams executive producing through his Bad Robot label.

That show will boast characters like Swamp Thing, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, and Doctor Mist. It’s speculated HBO Max may follow the Netflix Marvel strategy and do shows focusing on individual characters first before the team-up show.
