Jason Blum who is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions promises to release one of its tentpole franchises in 2021.

The Halloween franchise has lived throughout generations. However, the current pandemic is not only affecting horror films but the entire industry as a whole. Films continue to be delayed over and over again.

“If this is still going on next Halloween? No, we’re not holding it. Halloween Kills is coming out next October come hell or high water, vaccine or no vaccine. It is coming out.”
