Jason Fuchs, writer of Pan and Ice Age: Continental Drift, was originally reported to be writing the script for Wonder Woman. Well, apparently not.
According to a Comic-Con press release, Allen Heinberg and Geoff Johns rewrote the script, from a story by Zack Snyder and Allen Heinberg.
If you didn’t already know these two are Wonder Woman experts. Geoff Johns is the CCO of DC Comics and an annual writer, while Heinberg wrote a few Wonder Woman comics back in 2006-2007.
Not only that, but we’ve also gotten a plot synopsis for Wonder Woman:
“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
