Thats old news for now, it seems like apart from Lois Lane being the key to everything, Lex Luthor is also major key connecting   Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to Suicide Squad. Last year in Toronto, we had witnessed Batman and Bruce Wayne’s involvement in the movie, one of which was standing on The Joker’s vehicle. This gave us a small hint as to how both movies shared a connection, but with the Ultimate Edition, the connection has been established.

ComicBookMovie has gotten hold of an early copy of The Ultimate Edituon. They have confirmed that the edituon includes an extended version of the Batman and Lex Luthor confrontation in which he claims to know that Bruce and Batman are indeed the same individuals and that he is “too insane” to stand trial for his actions.  To which Batman responds by saying that Arkham Asylum awaits him. This could confirm his involvement in Task Force X. A speculation can be made of him escaping during the long-rumored prison riot sequence at the end of the movie.

Nonetheless, the movie is set to hit the theaters on August 5th, 2016 with Will Smith (Deadshot), Jared Leto (The Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).
